A client brief. A defensible shortlist.

Give your agency’s researchers a repeatable prospecting workflow. Translate a brief into company and people criteria, review a shared shortlist, and approve contact spend after qualification.

WORKFLOW STUDY

From an agency brief to reviewed research

Agency research brief

Sales leaders at companies with 51–200 employees in India.

First review after one search page.
  1. 01
    Map the brief

    Company criteria + person criteria

  2. 02
    Review the sample

    Check fit before more pages

  3. 03
    Prepare the handoff

    Source facts + qualification notes

Contact spend After prospect approval
Fictional research brief. List names organize work and do not create client isolation or a resale entitlement.
THE WORKFLOW

Scope the research before producing the list.

Agency prospecting starts with the client’s actual offer and territory. Agree on what makes an account relevant, who needs to be researched, and which questions require evidence beyond a directory record. Then use the same brief to review the shortlist.

  1. Turn the brief into supported criteria

Separate the target account profile from the person’s role and geography. Map company industry, employee band, location, title, function, and seniority to supported filters. Flag revenue, technology, funding, or intent requirements for separate research.

  2. Approve a sample before extending the search

Start with one bounded page and review whether the matches reflect the brief. A nonempty search page costs one credit. Change the criteria intentionally before spending on more pages, and document why the first sample was accepted or rejected.

  3. Keep the rationale beside each prospect

Save approved companies or people to named workspace lists. Add notes for fit, exclusions, and the next research question. Workspace members share those notes. List names organize assignments; they do not provide per-client permissions or a client portal.

  4. Review the handoff and channel budget

Check account identity, role relevance, and unresolved evidence before requesting protected channels. Quote and approve only the contacts the research task needs. Agree separately on permitted use and delivery before sharing data outside the workspace.

REVIEW THE DETAILS

Make the brief reviewable.

Use these fields as a research acceptance checklist. A specific review rule is more useful than a broad promise to deliver qualified leads.

THE SAME WORKSPACE, THROUGH MCP

Use MCP to make the research brief repeatable.

An authorized AI client can inspect filter vocabulary, propose a bounded search, and read selected list members for a review. REST supports the same workspace research foundation when your agency needs to build its own internal workflow.

Translate this agency brief into supported company and person filters. List unsupported requirements separately. Propose a one-page sample and wait for my approval. After I choose the prospects, prepare qualification notes for the shared list.

Start with research scopes and an explicit credit budget. Vencavo’s implemented workflow covers discovery, shared lists, quoted contact access, REST, and MCP. Client management, white-label delivery, resale rights, CRM sync, and outreach automation are not included in this workflow.

QUESTIONS

Before the next step.

Can agency researchers share prospect lists?

Yes. Named company and people lists and notes belong to the workspace. Confirm membership and permissions before sharing research with colleagues.

Are lists isolated for separate agency clients?

A list is an organizational tool within a workspace, not a per-client permission boundary. This workflow does not provide client management or a client portal. Plan access around actual workspace permissions.

Can we resell records or send campaigns from Vencavo?

This workflow does not establish resale rights and does not send outreach. Discuss permitted use and delivery requirements before sharing data with a client. Campaign execution belongs in your separately selected tools.

How should we estimate research costs?

Budget one credit per nonempty search page, one per new work-email evidence unlock, and five per new direct or mobile evidence unlock. Profiles, lists, and availability quotes are free. Credits are shared within the workspace.
